Malory Churchill

Veterinary Technician and Client Service Representative

Malory grew up the oldest sister of an animal-loving household in San Diego. She was an active member of several leadership and animal-focused organizations, including 4-H, FFA, AKC, and ASCA, which helped shape her into the person she is today. It came as no surprise that Malory would eventually pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Malory became certified as a veterinary assistant in 2015 before going on to complete San Diego Mesa College’s veterinary technician program. Over the years, Malory has held a variety of positions in the animal care field, including training and showing dogs, as well as owning her own grooming business. She also has extensive experience in emergency care, shelter medicine, and exotic pet husbandry.

Malory joined the Santaluz Animal Care team in July of 2024. Her favorite part of working in the veterinary field is helping pet owners better understand the why behind certain decisions and helping them navigate the ups and downs of pet parenting. She loves seeing owners come back to share how their pets have improved, strengthening the human-animal bond, and being a shoulder to lean on during difficult times.

At home, Malory has several pets of her own, including two dogs: a Berger Picard named Bic and a mischievous Affenpinscher named Parker, a rescue domestic short hair named Mimzy, and a green wing macaw named LadyBird. When she’s not busy at work or tending to her plethora of pets, you can usually find Malory doing something outdoors.
